One of the main attractions to visit during your stay in the castle-palace of Bulbuente is the Monastery of Santa Maria de Veruela.<\/p>\n The Cistercian Order settled on the slopes of the magical Moncayo in the twelfth century, in the fertile lowlands of the Huecha River. The white monks took root in these lands and their economic prosperity was essential for Veruela and its abbots to have an important political notoriety in the Kingdom of Aragon.
