Mais les faits les plus int\u00e9ressants remontent \u00e0 1954, lorsque le retable de l’\u00e9glise de Bulbuente a fait l’objet d’une restauration. C’est \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque que l’\u0153uvre a \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9e \u00e0 l’atelier de Jos\u00e9 Bardolet de Barcelone. Cependant, l’\u0153uvre n’est jamais retourn\u00e9e \u00e0 son lieu d’origine. <\/span><\/p>\n

La Vierge des Anges est un panneau de 206 x 129 cm qui pourrait \u00eatre l’\u0153uvre originale d’Enrique de Estenco, l’un des grands peintres gothiques qui a laiss\u00e9 des traces de son art dans la Couronne d’Aragon. Enrique de Estenco, ou Enrique de Bruselas, a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 plusieurs \u0153uvres pour la coll\u00e9giale de Daroca, la cath\u00e9drale de Valence, l’\u00e9glise San Felipe de Saragosse et l’\u00e9glise de Longares. <\/span><\/p>\n

L’\u0153uvre repr\u00e9sente la Vierge assise sur un tr\u00f4ne en boiserie gothique, entour\u00e9e de trois anges. Elle tient d’une main une fleur et de l’autre l’Enfant J\u00e9sus dans une attitude de b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. La donatrice, sainte Apollonie, saint Bernard, sainte Lucie, saint Beno\u00eet et sainte Agn\u00e8s, entre autres, sont \u00e9galement repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s. <\/span><\/p>\n

L’\u0153uvre a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9e par des agents de la Brigade du patrimoine historique de la police nationale. <\/span><\/p>\n

Le tableau qui se trouvait \u00e0 Bulbuente avant 1954 \u00e9tait en mauvais \u00e9tat de conservation, mais le panneau actuellement examin\u00e9 par la brigade du patrimoine historique est en assez bon \u00e9tat et semble donc avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9. L’enqu\u00eate polici\u00e8re a d\u00e9but\u00e9 lorsque la brigade a re\u00e7u une communication du minist\u00e8re de la culture concernant une demande d’exportation du panneau \u00e9manant d’un particulier. En raison de la valeur de la pi\u00e8ce, <\/span>180 000 euros<\/span>180 000 euros, les agents ont demand\u00e9 au Mus\u00e9e du Prado un rapport qui concluait que ce panneau ou un panneau similaire suspect <\/span>ou un panneau d’une ressemblance suspecte<\/span> se trouvait dans l’\u00e9glise de Bulbuente. <\/span> <\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir demand\u00e9 divers rapports aux d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s dioc\u00e9sains au patrimoine, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli que le panneau de la localit\u00e9 de Saragosse \u00e9tait une copie et qu’il avait remplac\u00e9 l’original en 1954, lorsqu’il a \u00e9t\u00e9 enlev\u00e9 pour \u00eatre restaur\u00e9. Les investigations ont conduit les agents de la police nationale \u00e0 saisir l’\u0153uvre originale et \u00e0 recueillir la d\u00e9claration de son propri\u00e9taire actuel, qui a indiqu\u00e9 que l’\u0153uvre avait \u00e9t\u00e9 acquise en 1980 dans une salle de vente aux ench\u00e8res de Barcelone. La proc\u00e9dure judiciaire qui s’ouvre maintenant sera longue et sera men\u00e9e par le Juzgado de Instrucci\u00f3n n\u00ba 1 de Tarazona. Une \u00e9tude sera \u00e9galement r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par des experts de la Direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la culture du gouvernement d’Aragon, qui confirmeront l’originalit\u00e9 de l’\u0153uvre. <\/span><\/p>\n

C’est le propri\u00e9taire lui-m\u00eame qui a remis l \u00ab \u0153uvre sans probl\u00e8me, consid\u00e9rant qu’il s’agissait de l’original et qu’elle avait \u00e9t\u00e9 acquise l\u00e9gitimement. Comme il ne s’agit pas d’un cas d’extr\u00eame urgence, les proc\u00e9dures \u00e0 venir pourraient \u00eatre plus longues. Les analyses du bois du support, ainsi que des pigments picturaux, seront d\u00e9finitives pour clarifier ce qu’il est advenu de l \u00bb \u0153uvre originale. <\/span><\/p>\n
