Bulbuente Castle
Manuel Giménez
Born in Borja, he has been interested in history and heritage since he was a child. He founded his industrial design company and continues to work for one of the most important international textile groups in our country.
As a great art lover, he has also worked organizing exhibitions and museums. When he was only thirty years old, he bought the castle of Grisel and spent 30 years restoring it, then he acquired the castle-palace of Bulbuente, also to recover it from its imminent disappearance.
Throughout the process he has enjoyed working on site, discovering the history of both castles, directing the progress and taking solutions to the multitude of problems presented by an intervention of this nature.
He has designed structures, spaces and accesses; with the collaboration of friends, architects, archaeologists and historians, always with the desire to save the heritage and enhance its value.

Elena Real
You may wonder how a Castilian wine lover from Ribera del Duero ends up in the heart of the Garnacha Empire? To find out you will have to come to Bulbuente to meet her.
Before moving to the lands of Moncayo, this Valladolid native worked for several years in Belgium and for more than a decade she was responsible for marketing in an important French multinational in Madrid.
She is a tireless traveler, she does not conceive life without traveling and getting to know new places and other people, that is why she understands very well what customers staying in Bulbuente can look for.
She also loves animals, so your pets are welcome.
Martina
I am little Martina, I was born in 2020 when the restoration of the castle was not yet finished. I live with my family in the house next door which was the old parsonage.
At the time, it belonged to the historical complex but was rebuilt in 1920. So I have grown up among the works and I still play around here, especially in the Medieval Tower to which my parents have given my name.
