Bardenas Reales

Just 60 minutes from the castle-palace of Bulbuente is the spectacular Bardenas Reales Natural Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. A desert landscape of more than 40,000 hectares.

The Bardenas Reales Natural Park is a territory of wild beauty and is divided into three zones: the Plano, farmland characterized by the gentler elevations; the Bardena Blanca, the most photographed and visited where the main formations Castildetierra and Pisquerra (and a shooting range that explains the flight of military aircraft) are located; and the Bardena Negra, where the terrain darkens giving way to the only Aleppo pine forests in the area accompanied by scrubland.

Upon arrival at the Bardenas Reales, we recommend our guests to go to the Visitor Information and Reception Center of the Bardenas Reales Natural Park before starting their tour or to get information beforehand in order to enjoy this unique natural enclave to the fullest.
