Bulbuente
The locality of Bulbuente enjoys a privileged strategic situation, located in the middle valley of the river Huecha, it is the entrance door to Moncayo. Of easy access being in the national road N-122 and with access to the regional road that communicates with Ambel and Talamantes. Halfway between Borja and Tarazona, Bulbuente is the last village that separates both historical regions.
With a wide municipal area and contrasts between the valley and the mountains that surround it. With an abundance of springs and its famous source of the twenty pipes. Special relevance has its chasm of La Mora Encantada, whose legend is represented every year in the village.
Its historic center is of clear Mudejar heritage, closed to the outside and with numerous dead-end streets known as pasettes. The emblazoned buildings of its High Street and the houses of the Barrio de los Moros stand out. As well as houses of the urbanism of the early twentieth century as its modernist house on the road or the Casa Luna.
The architecture of Bulbuente also stands out for the use of stone from the Huecha River, whose riverbed is subway as it passes through the town. For this reason there is a great proliferation of stone walls in the town center.
Its paloteao dance is the oldest dance in Aragon for which written evidence is preserved.
